Cash
Regular payment at the till with a fiscal receipt.
The cashier scans or types the code, the order loads by itself and becomes a fiscal receipt. Pay by cash, card or advance; the payment status goes back to your ERP.

At the till, the order pickup code replaces manual searching. The customer arrives with the slip from the consultant, the cashier scans it, and the products and prices of the order load by themselves. From them comes the fiscal receipt, with nothing retyped.
The information does not stay at the till. The "Customer orders" module sends the amount, the payment method and the receipt data to your ERP system, and the order is closed there.
The consultant creates the order in the showroom and it gets a short, unique code. If you wish, the code is printed straight away with a barcode on the showroom printer or on a mobile one. At the till the code is scanned or typed in. The customer sees the same code on the showroom screen. The article on the pickup code goes into more detail.
The cashier scans the slip or types the code on the keyboard.
Products and prices appear by themselves; nothing is searched for or re-entered.
By cash, by card or from an advance paid earlier.
The order becomes a fiscal receipt, like any other sale at the till.
The till also shows a list of orders ready for release, so the cashier can see at a glance what is waiting to be paid.

Card payment, same fiscal receipt.
The customer paid an amount earlier and the order is settled from it. See the article on payment modes.
For speed, the till needs a barcode reader. For a payment point with printed slips and product labels, a presentation scanner such as the Zebra DS9308 is a good fit; more models are in the presentation scanner catalogue. If you are unsure which type to pick, read how to choose a scanner for the checkout. For slips printed on the spot there are mobile printers. Check exact specifications on the product pages of those sites.
Right after payment the module sends to the ERP:
The ERP closes the order and accounting sees the payment without delay, not at the end of the day. If the ERP does not respond, sending is retried automatically and every exchange stays in the log. More on the exchange: ERP integration.
The order of steps depends on the chosen scenario: "pay, then ERP" or "ERP, picking, pay". The choice is made at implementation and can be changed in settings.
