Implementation

How we implement: from review to the first order

From a demo on your own data to the first real showroom order: the steps, what we prepare together and what stays on your side.

If you are weighing showroom software implementation, the practical question is what happens, step by step, between the first conversation and the first order issued by a consultant. The "Customer orders in the showroom" module is configured during implementation, with no custom programming for each company, and your company ERP stays the one you already have. The showroom, the warehouse and the till end up working from the same data.

We do not quote deadlines or durations here: they depend on your ERP system, the number of workstations and the equipment you already own, and they are discussed concretely at the demo.

The steps in brief

  1. A demo on your own data

Together we walk through the path of an order, from showroom to till, and note how you work today.

  2. Choosing the scenario

"Payment, then ERP" or "ERP, picking, payment", depending on how goods move in your business. The choice can be changed later in settings.

  3. Connecting to the ERP

Over web services or JSON, depending on what the ERP supports. We check the exchange in both directions, with the exchange log in plain sight.

  4. Equipment and settings

Consultant terminals, a printer for the pickup code, the till and the showroom screen, with its texts, colours and display language.

  5. The first order

A real order, from the consultant's terminal to payment at the till and the status in the ERP.

What to prepare on your side

  • Access to the ERP system and someone who knows it
  • The list of warehouses and the rules by which goods are prepared
  • How the till works: which payment forms are used and what data goes to the ERP
  • Existing equipment, or the intention to buy some (see Equipment)
  • A TV with HDMI and a PC or mini PC with a browser for the customer screen

What is configured without programming

Most settings are made in the web interface: the customer screen (themes, colours, frames, backgrounds, zones, stage texts, sound, display language), the working mode, and the link to the till. Connecting the screen is simple: open the /tv address on the television, a code appears, and the code is entered in the administration area. The screen remembers the connection. Details are on the Customer screen page.

Equipment

For consultants we recommend Zebra terminals, mobile printers for the pickup code, and a presentation scanner at the till. The choice depends on budget and workflow; the list is on the Equipment page, and exact specifications are best checked on the partner shop pages.

Checking before launch

Before the module goes live, we walk the full route together with the people who will use it: order, ERP, picking, screen, till, payment and the status coming back. If something does not fit, we adjust the scenario or the settings, not your process.
